Monday Made It!

I am linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for today's Monday Made It....

First for my teacher friends...

Stoplight Learning. The district I work for is HUGE on students monitoring their own learning and progress. This is a great tool for students to be able to do that and for you to quickly scan the room and see who needs help or is getting it.

Simply print out onto Card Stock and laminate to ensure durability (remember the kids will be taking care of these ;).

Then you will fold on the lines like so

Overlap the green 'Go' side onto of the blank square to create a triangle. Use some double sided tape to secure, and you are good to go!

You can find it here. Please leave some love if you choose to download.

And then for the rest of my readers, I found this wreath on Pinterest and loved it. With the upcoming holiday I decided to change the color scheme to red, white, and blue.

First, I made a template out of card stock

Then, I traced the template onto felt pieces (8.5x11). I laid the felt pieces horizontally and only traced on half of it. Then when I cut them out I folded them in half and made one long piece and then cut that in half.

I used a large styrofoam wreath to hot glue the pieces on.

I worked in sets of 3. I would glue them directly onto the wreath and then when I pulled them around to attach them, I glued onto the felt to make sure the position was in the correct spot.

Complete the wreath by choosing a coordinating ribbon to hang it from. I think it could use some 'dressing up' and may be adding some stars in the near future.

Thanks for stopping by!... I'm off to check out other fabulous ideas on Monday Made It.
